Michael Jackson Visits Tokyo Disneyland

May 31st, 2006

URAYASU, CHIBA - American singer Michael Jackson (47) spending a few days in Japan visited Tokyo Disneyland in Urayasu, Chiba on the evening of May 30th.

Jackson and his three children arrived around 6:30pm from a Tokyo-area hotel wearing a red jacket. The children, wearing masks, were surrounded by personal bodyguards as the group was led through an underground entrance into the park. He went on his favorite attraction first, "Peter Pan's Flight." That ride takes guests on pirate ships over to "Neverland," which was also the theme to his pervious residence in California. He later rode "Pooh's Hunny Hunt" and "Pirates of the Caribbean."

Jackson later returned to the city at 10:50pm and secretly visited the "Bic Camera" electronics shop in Yurakucho for a shopping spree.
